CCI Clears Merger of Three Agri Firms into BN Agrochem

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved a proposed merger involving A1 Agri Global Limited, B.N. Agritech Limited, and Salasar Balaji Overseas Private Limited into BN Agrochem Limited (BNAC). The approval was announced in a press release issued on 28th April, 2026.
Structure of the Combination
The merger will result in BN Agrochem Limited becoming the sole surviving entity. The combination is being carried out under a Scheme of Amalgamation, which received board approval on June 28, 2025.
Business Activities of the Entities
- BN Agrochem Limited (BNAC): Engaged in procurement and trading of soybean oil and palmolein oil.
- B.N. Agritech Limited (BNA): Involved in procuring crude edible oils such as sunflower oil and palmolein oil, followed by refining, repackaging, and trading.
- Salasar Balaji Overseas Pvt Ltd: Deals in procurement, repackaging, and trading of edible oils, including Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil (KGMO), palmolein oil, and soybean oil.
- A1 Agri Global Limited: Operates in sourcing, crushing, refining, and trading mustard seeds and mustard oil for captive consumption. It also trades in soybean seeds, soybean oil, and palmolein oil.
